The End

Dear You,
Hello, I am back in 2012 and it feels weird being here. After all those years being in the past, when I am finally rescued, it all feels like a dream.
Anyways, the War of 1812 ended with the Treaty of Ghent. It took five months to negotiate.Plus, the War had to end soon! I mean most of the that the Americans had to declare war on them are gone. The boundaries are back as they were and the forty-ninth parallel of latitude will be the border. Britain dropped its goal of First Nations territory and they (USA and Canada) would never use First Nations as allies in war again.
Of course, the British had punished the traitors in the Alien Act. It is quite cruel but they kind of deserved it. Of course people also got recognition for bravery and Laura Secord got a pension (yay! I always liked her chocolate!)
Now that I have nothing to blog about anymore, this will be my last post. I wanted to say goodbye and that I hoped you enjoyed reading this. It was the only thing from me going insane in the past.

Love
Catherine
